About the Teacher
Tabla Visharad, ABGMV Mumbai
Tejas Joshi has been teaching tabla for over 12 years, guiding students of every age and level through the rigour and joy of Indian classical percussion. He holds the title of Tabla Visharad from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal (ABGMV), Mumbai — one of the most respected examining bodies in Indian classical music — and brings that same academic rigour into every lesson.
Beyond the classroom, Tejas is an active performer, having played tabla in concert settings alongside vocalists and instrumentalists. That stage experience shapes how he teaches: not just technique and theory, but the timing, listening, and confidence that come from performing live.
Whether you're a complete beginner, a student preparing for ABGMV's official examinations, or someone returning to tabla after years away, Tejas designs each class around where you actually are — not a fixed syllabus.

Learn face-to-face in a focused weekly session. Offline classes are ideal for students who want hands-on correction of hand position, tone, and technique, and the accountability of a fixed weekly rhythm.
Learn from anywhere in the world on a schedule that works for you. Every online class is strictly one-on-one — never a group or batch call — so you get the same individual attention as an in-person lesson, wherever you are.
